Bloom Bash San Clemente Recap
We're thrilled to be sharing our last workshop of 2016 with you today! This is especially fun to do in January as we're looking back on our workshops from last year, but also looking forward to our 2017 workshop schedule launch coming up on January 23rd! Take a peek into our day with the gorgeous images from Bowtie & Bloom.
We hosted Bloom Bash San Clemente at the beautiful Casino venue. It was the perfect setting for our two day event! Our workshops always start out with a yummy strolling breakfast, but this time was extra special because the attendees had the opportunity to build their own piece of jewelry at the Kendra Scott Color Bar. Workshop attendees learned about the inspiring story of how Kendra Scott started her company with only $500 in her pocket, which set the tone for our time together.
Next, we dove into our teaching sessions! First up is the Why's and How's of Blogging, since we think that blogging is a HUGE piece to your creative business puzzle. We enjoy a delicious lunch (we had yummy sandwiches, salads and then artisan pizza for day two!), had our teaching sessions on Photography (how to shoot in manual!) and Styling (how to pretty up your work with some basic principals!) Next up was our calligraphy class taught by Molly Jacques, where all the girls tried their hand at brush calligraphy. These creative, hands-on sessions are so important to us to offer, because they get you out of your regular routine, and hopefully spark your creative juices in a new way! We end each day with a Q&A panel, where we invite talented artists and bloggers to answer all of your burning questions.

Day Two started out with a delicious breakfast, and then we headed in to social media. We teach on how to use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Periscope for your business. It is always a pleasure to hear from her, as she is incredibly knowledgeable on this subject! We finished the early afternoon with lunch and headshots for our attendees.
Next, it was time to get our hands dirty by playing with flowers! Amy Osaba taught our floral design session and to describe it as "pretty" would be a huge understatement. There were flowers everywhere-- including the most beautiful coral charm peonies you've ever seen! We always love offering these hands-on sessions because it's important to get out of your normal creative routine to try something new. You'd be surprised how inspiring and life-giving this is!
After break out teaching sessions on both styling + design and photography, we finished the day with a gorgeous styled wedding shoot. The sweet gals were troopers and they styled and photographed their hearts out.
We hope you enjoyed our recap and are excited to see our 2017 schedule! We'll be giving you the low-down on our dates and cities on Monday, January 16th. Mark your calendars for January 23rd, as that's when ticket sales will open!
