Bloom Bash Chicago Recap
Last July we made a short drive from West Michigan to Chicago, where we held our second Bloom Bash workshop of 2017. It was a stormy two days in Chicago, but thankfully our beautiful venue, City View Loft, was totally indoors so we were dry! We spent the two days teaching small creative business owner gal's about how to blog, use social media to attract their ideal clients, use their cameras to the best of their ability, style aesthetically pleasing vignettes, as well as try their hand at a few hands-on sessions. Our hope is always for our attendees to come out as more well-rounded Creatives who can best serve their clients with the new practical tools they've learned at Bloom Bash!
One of our sweet attendees, Jen of Girl Meets Party, shared with us some exciting things about her time at Bloom Bash:
THIS is why we travel the country teaching women in small businesses! Nothing excites us more than hearing of wonderful success stories. I know we're not done hearing about Jen!
Alright, it's time to take a peek back at Bloom Bash Chicago, captured by our friend and talented photographer, Erin Stubblefield Photography:
We were so fortunate to have the lovely ladies from the Chicago Kendra Scott store come join us and help pamper our attendees with some bling! Kendra Scott's story is so inspirational, so we kicked off the workshop by telling them about her journey.
We start our workshops off with a delicious breakfast for our guests and of course, some morning fuel in the form of coffee or tea in their new mug from PCB Home!
After introductions and learning a bit about everyone's story, we kick things off by diving into the world of blogging. Everything from why you should be doing it to HOW exactly to do it! This is a very interactive session, with time to chat with your table and the two of us when we travel around to each table.
On the first day of the workshop, we also do our hands-on calligraphy session, which was taught by Molly Jacques. The girls had so much fun playing with lettering and watercolors.
No workshop is complete without lots of tasty food, so the gals dove into some amazing treats by Flour & Fig.
On the second day of the workshop, after a morning session all about social media and a few break out sessions on design and photography, we let our attendees refresh by creating their floral arrangements. This class was taught by Kelly Marie of Fleur Chicago. She was so wonderful!
The culmination of all of our teaching sessions at Bloom Bash is the gorgeous styled shoot we put together on the second day. Our attendees have the freedom to practice styling and photographing all the details to then add to their portfolio when they're back home!
Our styled shoot vendors and artists were amazing!

This was such a lovely group of ladies and we're so thrilled for what they're doing in their businesses!
