Back in May Ashley and I had the opportunity to travel to Waco, Texas and go visit Magnolia Market! This was my second trip to the Silos, but Ashley's first, so it was the best day! We had so much fun shopping (of course we each grabbed a souvenir!), walking around the property ooohing and awwwing over the flowers and special details, grabbing THE most delicious cupcakes we've ever consumed, and enjoying lunch from the food trucks on the property.
Besides our cupcakes being the highlight of our day, we also were fortunate enough to get a private tour of Magnolia with the sweet event director at the Silos! She gave us lots of history on the property and even took us up on the roof top, for the best view of the grounds (and possibly best view in Waco!) Chip & Joanna watch the Silobration events and concerts from the grassy area on the rooftop, so we were loving it up there! My dad even snapped a picture of us standing on the rooftop and shared it on Facebook ;) It was quite exciting! One of the other exciting parts of our tour was to see the private offices upstairs. We met in Chip's office and it was just as you'd expect from him! We learned the Gaines' don't have a TV at home, so Chip has a big screen in his office to watch games from ;) So fun to learn these little things.
Anyways, we loved our time at Magnolia SO much, we wanted to share our photos from the visit with you. But we also wanted to let you in on an exciting trip we have planned back to Magnolia in October! As you might know, we have our Bloom Bash Dallas event on October 10th and 11th at The White Sparrow Barn. Instead of packing up and saying goodbye at the end of the two days, we are inviting all of our attendees with us on a field trip to Magnolia Market! We'll be meeting there to explore, shop, grab lunch together, and enjoy the biggest event of the year-- the Silobration! TONS of vendors and artists from all across the country will be there selling their goods out on the grounds, so it's sure to be an unforgettable experience! Even our calligraphy teacher, Annie of Wildfield Paper Co. will be there with a popup shop. We're so excited to support her!
We'd love to have you join us at Bloom Bash Dallas and then come along for our trip to the Silos, too! The tickets are also on sale for 15% off + 20% of the purchase goes to Harvey relief until tomorrow, so now's the time to buy! Use discount code LABORDAY15 for your discount on Bloom Bash Dallas tickets.
Isn't it beautiful?! It's a very inspiring place to be, that's for sure! Joanna's attention to detail was not lost on us. She cares so well for the people who come visit the Silos by all the love she pours into this place!
Hope to meet you in Texas this October!
